RUNNER'S DELIGHT!


The Annual PAL 10K & 5K Run/Walk through Castroville's artichoke fields has been scheduled for May 11, 2008. The date of the run is one week before the actual Artichoke Festival, which is being held on May 17th and May 18th. The 10K  & 5K run/walk through the artichoke fields along the beautiful Monterey coastline and adjacent to the wetlands of the Elkhorn Slough is considered a runner's paradise.

COURSE
Flat hard packed dirt agricultural roads through artichoke fields. The course makes a loop back to the start. Special thanks to Sea Mist Farms, Ocean Mist Farms and Scattini Farms.

$25 per person up until April 25, 2008
$30 per person after April 25, 2008
Fees are Non-Refundable.
Race day registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the start line, Preston Street and Tembladero Street, Castroville
Race starts at 9:00 A.M.
Checks are made payable to Castroville Artichoke Festival
